HOLLMEYER SMITH is a full service design studio serving Northern VirginiaI and the District of Columbia. Our focus is on providing high quality Architecture and Interior Design solutions with attention to detail. We have expertise in Residential Architecture and well as Commercial and Residential Interior Design. We listen to our clients needs and expectations to create beautiful spaces that work.

In addition to complete Architectural and Interior services, we design custom kitchens, bathrooms, built-in cabinetry and provide furnishings and accessories. We collaborate with other design professions to create a design team that fully addresses the technical and aesthetic aspects of every project.

Holly Smith is the Principal Architect of HOLLMEYER SMITH DESIGN + ARCHITECTURE. With over 30 years in the design profession Holly brings expertise to every project. Holly has professional degrees in both Interior Design and Architecture. She received her Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Architecture from Columbia University. She is a registered Architect in Virginia and New York. She has worked in cities around the world and brings a wide perspective on the art of building and making beautiful spaces. In 2008 she open her studio to focus on Residential Architecture and Light Commercial Interiors. Throughout her career her passion has been to find artful solutions to every design challenge. Ms. Smith enjoys working closely with her clients to meet and exceed their expectations. She lives with her family, two dogs and two cats in Alexandria.
